Most kitchen companies will tell you they're bespoke. What they usually mean is they take pre-manufactured units from a range, adapt them to fit your room, and assemble a combination that works for the space. It looks custom. It isn't.
At Chiselwood, bespoke means what the word was always supposed to mean. Every single element of your kitchen is designed specifically for you by our design team. Not selected from a catalogue. Every cabinet, drawer, shelf, and surface is then handcrafted individually by our workshop team, using traditional techniques and the finest materials. Nothing is pre-made. Nothing is adapted. Nothing exists until you ask for it.

How much does a Chiselwood kitchen cost?
Every kitchen is different because every client is different. We'll give you honest, transparent pricing from the outset with a fully itemised breakdown so you know exactly what you're investing in and there are no surprises down the line. The best way to get a realistic idea for your project is to book a showroom visit.
How long does the process take from design to installation?
Most of our projects run between 12 and 36 weeks from design sign-off to completed installation. Where you sit within that range depends on the scope and complexity of the work, the materials chosen and the wider build programme around us. But we'll give you a clear, milestoned schedule early on so you can plan around it with confidence.
Our handcrafted approach also builds your kitchen in-full in our workshop, so we know everything is right, before disassembling and fitting at your home. This approach means our installations are typically measured in days rather than weeks, so much less disruption for you.
Do I need to have my plans finalised before getting in touch?
Not at all. Some clients come to us with a clear picture, others come with nothing more than a feeling. Martin's job is to draw the vision out of you, that's where the design process starts.
Can I visit the workshop to see my kitchen being made?
Absolutely. Our workshop in Lincoln is open to you. Seeing your kitchen take shape in the hands of the people building it is part of the experience and part of what makes Chiselwood different.
